Science Almost all near-death experiences have these visions in common — study

My heart tells me that NDEs are a glimpse at the hereafter, that there's an energy that permeates everything. The web of all that is that we return to.

This is my faith and I feel it strongly. Then there's my mind, now that's a different story. My mind is analytical and looks to make sense out of the unknown,my mind tells me that as we die there's a surge of electrical impulses that floods our brain. That parts fail to work properly and signaling gets scrambled, there's a release of chemicals and what we really experience, rather than DMT,is a natural version of an arylcyclohexylamine. We become dissociated as we lose connections to our body and we perceive to have otherworldly experiences.

Maybe this state we find ourselves in as we die is the truth, maybe a door is opened or maybe it's just a natural process of dying that gives our mind comfort as it's realises the ultimate truth. That we die,our personality dies, our memories die and everything that we were vanishes from existence.

Why do we think ourselves so special that we think we can overcome the inevitable. Everything lives and everything dies, heaven and hell are here right now,we live and experience both, some more than others.

They are Jokers or prankster beings that one see‘s on stuff that is not from their own body.
They do not tell the truth and can be dangerous to your soul and spirit.
They are to be avoided.

I heard Joe Rogan talk about them and they kept saying ” look over here” , “ look over there” they are a distraction and I think they do that because they are actually stealing energy or something from you.
hm
Noo, no. This was 3 years before I ever touched a drug (I think I had literally taken Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, Imodium, Hayfever Meds and Antibiotics before and nothing else, never even prescribed codeine or anything). I'd never had drugs or alcohol at that point.
same thing happened to me nearly got hit by a car

The thing that makes me hate these lying fuckers so much is the thing they're preying on - people who miss their loved ones. I miss my dad and I'd give anything to see him again for a few minutes. The fact that some lying bastard is williing to exploit that vulnerability makes me sick to my stomach.

I KNOW I will see my dad again and that is comforting to me,
otherwise I could not stand the pain.

Does it not comfort you to think that, even if you don’t fully believe yet, that there is the possibility of being reunited with him again?
I promise you will be reunited again. One fine day!
❤️

you are right though. It is a travesty that the religious prey on the vulnerable for money!
SHAME on them!

I half have my fingers crossed even tho I don't believe it painful one. Do I get to see all my lovely dogs again at the rainbow bridge? I can't post the rainbow bridge story as i always end up sobbing! :)

I hope so - best book I've read about ghosts and the afterlife and UFOs is "The demon haunted world" by Carl Sagan - he talks about missing his parents so much too.

I hope we Get to see our lovely dog friends again.
I could not stand to be parted from my dog.
She is the first dog I have ever had and I absolutely LOVE her! She is six years old now.

I think we will get to see our dogs again.

Yes, The Rainbow Bridge. Tell the story. Please.

I am going to have to read that book.

I know I have let the past experience of others color my experience a similar shade in the past.

You asked for it painful one!! :)

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

How much faith do you put in peoples reports? I used to read a lot about it untill I eventually realised how many of the people claiming "I saw the tunnel to God" were actually christians trying to push their religion.
Most people that have nde return and completely give up any orginized religion they previously followed.

Never heard that one before - I thought the whole point of the nde is that it reinforces the organised religion idea of an afterlife. That's why the concept is extremely popular among christians.

There is a bunch of literaturec about the experiences and also how people change after this. The most profound changes are usually after two or more. Many people carry no recollection of the first for some reason.

People give up religion and quit High level rat race jobs. They might decide instead to try a nice garden and teach music for free and become spiritual shunning organized religion. They often instead choose to do really simple endeavors that are basic and spiritual to them.

By far the most amazing thing for me was having every question you have had during your life answered in one moment. They are not answered by some amazing passed single intuition that clears them all.. your just simply able to focus on every question you have had during this life at the same time' and enjoy individual and specific resolution to all of them instantaneously.

All of us have been around for a long time and birth is not the beginning and death is not the end.

How does this work? so there are like 7 billion alive today and 100 billion having ever lived, is there a queuing system for new bodies for souls to reincarnate into?
As the global population levels off there will be a bunch of recently dead people looking for new bodies but not enough new bodies, I hope that the management have considered this issue and have implemented remedial measures.

I think its more universal and I don't think we are often reincarnated on the same planet. Think bigger, there are between 30 to 70 billion trillion stars in the universe. Think that playing field will accommodate a few billion souls... So I guess chalk one up for management on this one?

^^^ This is exactly right.

I am of NO RELIGION!

We whom have had NDE’s do not like man made religions at all!
So like the soul holds the memories or what? Like, how does your brain stop working but when you come back you know what you "saw" when you were near death?

Where does the energy/entropy come from to keep your soul and memories working? The fundamental of the universe is entropy decaying to zero - even stars eventually decay to dead lumps after the energy is gone - where is the source of energy for these billions of souls? Nuclear fusion?

I considered myself an atheist before this NDE, and I still am Of No Religion!

No. That was not true at all for me.
My NDE started with floating down a river on an Egyptian or Viking style boat and having to pass tests.
It had a lot of Norse and Egyptian mythology in it.
I called this part of the NDE, The Underworld. A lot happened there.
I now understand the “directions “ left for the dead in Egyptian tombs, etc..
They tell how to pass the test(s) in The Underworld!

Then, I popped out of my belly button and was in the actual hospital room. I could see all the doctors and nurses, working frantically on me. I could see my heart had flatlined on the machine.
It took me a few to realize that body was mine who was lying there dead and looking almost unrecognizable to me.

I was in a separate body! My spirit body!! My psychical body meant nothing to me. It was like a change of clothing.

I tried to talk to the doctors but they could not hear me. I tried to go to the door and open it, I just wanted out of there, and my hand went right through the door. I started to panic and it was then that I noticed two Angels in the corner of the room.
I knew they could see me because they were looking right at me.

They stood up and asked me “Do you want to come with us?” I said “yes” and they each took a hold of each of my arms and we just flew right out of the building. Out into the night sky. We travelled a great distance and came to a different dimension.

The dimensions are like layers. Like an onion.

Because, YOU are NOT your body.
You are much more.
you have a beautiful soul inside you.

yes indeed.

There are actually far less of us then it seems.
It is the same souls coming back over and over again until we learn what we need to in order to advance beyond this world.
