allergy desensitization

Hello,
I would like to know if it's safe to use drugs during allergy desensitization, I couldn't find any good info about that on the internet. Doctor said I can take all meds normally, so I assume it shouldn't really interact with other substances, but I'd really appreciate to get a confirmation from you guys . I think especially about codeine, MJ, mushrooms/4-aco.

I'm mostly concerned about anaphylaxis risk - can it occur after taking codeine and being desensitized? I've taken codeine quite a few times and never had any problems after it (besides itching of course, and only very first times).
+I normally take Xyzal every day (levocetirizine dihydochloride) as anti-allergic medication - I usually skipped it on day I was taking codeine. Should I take it normally? Does it affect codeine in any way?

I'd avoid taking codeine, as that tends to have quite a heavy histamine reaction, and often it's recommended to take allergy meds with it to reduce the side effects.

You mean side effects like itching, so it could just be less pleasant or it could actually be dangerous?

And what about other drugs? Would MJ be fine?
