My friend and I got one and a half bundels of heroin she did 5 bags and was fine when she came home she gave me the bundel I gave her 3 more bags she did them when she was shooting up she experienced bad burning as it entered the vein emeditly after her hand swelled to like 4 times it's size and was red and her whole arm broke out in hives she went to the ER they said it was a allergic reaction my question is what could have caused this and why when she did the 5 bags earlier did it not effect her considering we got all the heroin from the same person? Also if I do any of the heroin will this happen to me?

Definately the cut although I used to get reactions from just the pin alone. I had very good dope a while ago that burnt when it went in my vein i shudder to think what it was cut with. Although honestly some diphenydramine will stop most of that reaction I wouldn't reccommend doing dope thats putting people in the hospital from the shit its cut with.

My advice is to not acquire heroin from this source again. If you didn't have an allergic reaction this time that means you should be okay but for the sake of your friend...I wouldn't risk it again.

I know if your dope is too hot when you pin it can spread a heat rash (I didn't aspirate to check for blood as that took too long lol). so hot dope can trigger something similar to allergic reaction. also if you use a longer pin such as 1 or 1.5 inch if you go through a bit some dope can leak out and cause a site histamine release. its why I used the 5/8inch pins 31g 1cc or 5/8" 30g 1/2cc. if you're worried about the reaction and you're gonna do the dope anyways (I know I would) take some antihistamines such as benadryl about half hour before. its funny cuz the dope in my area is cut with dph so my entire using career I never had allergies.

This has happened to me before when I accidentally hit a nerve or artery before, intense burning and sort of an electric shock-like feeling followed by huge swelling. But if the hospital said it was definitely an allergic reaction, then it could have been the cut or the heroin itself. No way to know, and definitely no way to know what cut it could have been or whether or not it will happen to you if it was a cut. It's not "definitely the cut", people can have allergic reactions from heroin itself too. Some people do occasionally get allergic reactions to a cut or to heroin when they haven't had one before. And some heroin dealers will sell you several bags when not all of them are from the same batch. However injections into nerves are so uncommon in a medical setting that a lot of medical professionals don't know about them and could miss the signs. Sorry, there are just so many possibilities. Can't know what the exact problem she had was.
