It's catch 22 really. You work out to look good when you go out, but going out makes you look and feel like shit.

How many litres of water are you drinking a day? I've heard you should be drinking a minimum of 3 if you're exercising and taking whey, let alone if you're getting pissed regularly. I used to drink every friday and saturday and work out all week, and all that exercising barely kept me ahead of the drinking. Then I went on a 3 month long binge when I started uni and destroyed the lot.
 
Yeah it's easy to destroy the weeks hard work with one weekend bender. I usually drink friday sat and sunday without fail, it's only the last 2 weekends I've mastered staying off it on fridays lol, which has resulted in hitting it worse than ever on sundays!

Probably not drank enough water today or eaten enough, can't be fucked cooking. Despite the possible internal damage I've been weighing up getting back on it seen as it's so sunny but came to the conclusion it's a bad idea cos I'll miss the gym tomorrow aswell which I am now prepared to do.

Mondays are always fail.
 
Wouldn't taking GBL/GHB in place of drinking on friday and saturday do the trick? I was a naive teenager back when I used to train hard so the thought never occured to me.
 
Still trying to decide on gym today but after drinking saturday night and most of sunday could be a waste of time going. Had sore kidneys all day so probably aswell leaving it for now. Always seem to miss mondays if i drink Sat....

If it's my training day and i've been drinking heavily the night before, I always sweat it out on the runner, regardless of how shit I feel. Combining the cardio with mineral rich food stuffs, and plenty of electrolytes, I always feel much better for dragging my whisky ridden bones out of bed.

Sore kidneys are however, a bad sign. Time to decide which you like the most. Your health and your body, or the stupid shit you get written on your forehead, when your in a drunken stupor.
 
I think it's the constant mixing of drinks. I've gone from drinking about 4-5 nights a week down to just a night and a day lately. That said the damage has probably been done already, keep meaning to have a few weeks sobriety I'm giving up even saying that because it never happens. Might have to try and invest in some ketamine to entertain me next weekend and avoid the demon drink.

I never usually attempt the gym if I feel bad. Just a waste of time going better to wait until health is back to normal.

Cos it's a half baked effort if I feel like this I notice I'm not as strong as usual, whereas if I just wait til tomorrow I'll be back to normal.
 
training when hanging is shite. remember the day after a booze n meph binge i forced myself to get on the cross trainer at max setting flat out for a mile, got off it and felt like id just done some nitrous, staggered around heart banging like fuck, lay down for a few mins, bp must of been all over the place. got up n did some pull ups and thought i was gonna collapse after. wouldnt even bother attempting it now, even getting my ass up outta bed for work after a sesh is bad enough
 
I bought one of those pull up bar things from Argos but they are fucking shit. It dented the wall and almost tore the skirting off so now I just use it for press ups.
 
Gyms are a load of shit as well. Full of posing faggots and the machines are covered in sweat and grease. I got a rash when I last went.
 
well, aren't you a cheery bastard lol

depends on the pull up bar that you buy. some of them are shit. some of them are good. maybe your walls and skirting are shit

and some gyms are shit... some are good

I screwed mine into the door frame. Now I dont have to worry about breaking my neck everytime I let it hold my weight.

the key to having a successful workout at any gym: go during odd hours. If youre going any time from 4-8 on a weeknight youre not gonna have a good time.
 
I've got an iron gym pull up bar thing but it wont fit any of the doors in this accomodation, was hoping it would fit onto my en-suite but it doesn't :( Started using it for pressups only.

I have a York Bodygym Bench thingymebob at Angelsmokes house still that once I get my room clean I might try and get here, uses your own bodyweight and pulleys to allow you do a ton of different exercises, is a pretty cool bit of kit and fold away really easily too. I need to start getting fit again.
