I had my test kit for about 3 months or so and tested about 30-40 pills (most of them different from one another). Every single friggin time it turned black instantly. I started testing my asprin and advil just to get a little excitement. Oh well, I'm not complaining!

If they all tested the same way, on the surface that sounds great.
It would be interesting to know if you have the same experiences with them. I hope you don't have a fucked experience with one and a good experience with another - that would make me a little concerned about the reliability of the test kit.

Not really.
An EZ Test (or dancesafe) will only turn darkpurple / almost black in the presence of an ecstasy like substance.
If it has 10mg mda in it, you'll probably have a completely different experience if it has 150mg of mdma but the reaction will be the same, to darkpurple.
It is a limitation of the test, it depends on how you define things but you can be sure that if the colorchange is different from darkpurple/almost black, it is not mdma, mda or mdea.

Thanks for the clarification.
Would you suggest, then, testing one pill several times? That is, take a number of different scrapings from different parts of the pill? Perhaps even halving it?
