All at once; Once and for all

All at once it crashes down
and strikes with force and furious rage
engulfing me as I try to breathe
taking all that’s left
I feel pain; my chest is sore
I’m winded and I’m lonely
Laying sadly, looking blindly
Praying things will change for better
But they don’t
and now, upon me I can feel the bitter taste
and I can taste the bitter sorrow
Hold on tight until tomorrow.
Feel my life is slipping slowly
but so surely, quickly too
no more light, now clouds surround me
as my eyes begin to shut
Like a tidalwave exploding on my face
I feel it all
taking my last breath
I lay to sleep once and for all.
