I haven't timed it....my friend and I kind of take our time. We're usually getting ready to have 'special cuddles' after we blast so we make sure everything is in order beforehand. We're usually not in a rush, so it's all good. Though sometimes I do get a bit antsy, just looking at the rigs sitting there, waiting, tempting.......

From the time I've got the bag in my hand it's only about 1-2 minutes to have it ready to go.....finding a decent vein is a whole other story.

it depends on the kind of dope i'm shooting. If it is raw and all rocked up, it takes a few minutes or so to get it broken down into solution. If its powder, i toss it right in the spoon add water, filter and shoot. I'd say anywhere from 4-5 minutes. However, getting in a vein is another story. Sometimes its one try and i get it, sometimes it takes a few tries.

I simply just use water and a plastic water bottle cap mix it all together then use a small cotton and proceed to enjoy the rush

is this how everyone else does it or do yall heat it up and use a spoon and what not ?

Generally, people who shoot powder do it the way you are describing.

I used to shoot tar and would melt it down in a spoon. It helped the tar mix into solution faster. But, there is some debate about whether or not it is necessary. If I were still using, I'd do it the same way because it is a ritual that I associate with a good high.

That's the way i've always done it

put heroin in spoon or those metal containers from the needle
exchange, add some citric acid and water. heat. stir. drop
cotton in the spoon or filter through needle filter.
stick needle in my arm, register and push the plunger.
feel great. repeat. sleep. %)

i never use a tourniquet or anything similar.

I take my time sometimes , other times i cannot seem to wait and will prep a shot and shoot in the absolute fastest time i am capable of.

depends on if i am in a rush or not...if im trying to do it fast, under 1 min. otherwise under 5 mins. and this is with heroin.

i never get in a rush to get the rush, whats the point? being a fiend hasn't gotten me anywhere, i don't know about you guys.

i usually take about 5 minutes for a water soluble substance. determine the quality and dose, add little water as possible. a 1/4 g of meth or coke doesn't need more than 15-20 ccs of water. pull it up into the fit nice and easy, get everything, put on some music, chill back for a minute with the fit in my hand, making sure i have a good vein bulgin. push out the bubbles, register, slowly in, crimsons flash, slowly out, omgiwhyismyheadcrackling... lol

stuff i gotta cook, heroin,oxy,dilaudid, 5 to 10. basically the same routine, but i'm even more laid back and less anxious because i know whats coming is pure bliss. i'm kind of a pyro so i tend to boil the shit out of pills and smack, probably not a good idea, but its fun, hahahah. the whole heating routine is a fucking racket, i'll tell ya what.

years ago, when i used to shoot meth more often, it would take maybe 2-3 minutes. I was about 10 kilos lighter so my veins were easy to see, they stuck right out. These days, the few occasions that i indulge, takes me at least 5 minutes. Guess i'm just a little out of practice, lol.
