Absolutely can not wait for this game to come out , unfortunately there has been a number of delays over the years from gearbox who are developing the game and who also created AVP which was pretty good but will be nothing compared to Colonial Marines when its finally released

From what i have learned the game will be based on the Colonial Marines we see in the James Cameron hit Aliens and will be available to play as a 4 player co-op which i hope they do as well as they did with borderlands and learn from their mistakes with the AVP match making system which really ruined the multiplayer side of things on the Xbox 360 anyway

We are set to see the game finally released at the end of this year around november - december and is said that we will be able to control the aliens like before in the AVP game

If you want to add some input to how the game is made you can do so at the gearbox forums where they are always asking for the gamers opinions on certain aspects of the game with things like controls , how hacking should be implemented and other things such as which kind of aliens we should see in the game

For me this is my most anticipated game to be released this year along with Mass Effect 3

yeah, I am. I don't play console games anymore, but this makes me wish I did

I was a HUGE fan of the PC first person shooters in AVP and AVP2. so awesome being able to control not only all species, but different classes of said species
 
you got it on xbox rickolasnice ?

i could play some time but i just hope you are in a good area for connecting to people cos the match making system is bad for the game and it goes by server locations, i had a nightmare connecting to anyone but as soon as i started playing along with a guy from down south i would just be in his lobby and he would do the searching and we would be in a game within no time at all .. on my own tho forget it . id be sitting there for ages waiting to join a game
 
Nah i'm talking about the original on the PC from YEARS ago..

But yeah i do have it on the X-Box.. i don't have live though.. i should really have sorted that out by now ;)
 
do you have AvP 1 or AvP 2, rickol?

I have been desperately trying to d/l AvP2, but I can't find it anywhere (outside of legality or even at stores to purchase)

any way you can help me in the right direction? if I could play this game my life would be 100 percent better. if it's outside of lines, send me a PM, as we do not allow talk like that on this forum ;)
 
I have AvP (now called:) Classic.. the first one..

I played the second one briefly.. my mate had it..

Sorry but nah i dunno where to find AvP2.. try pestering steam to release it.. they seem to love re-releasing old games for low prices :)
