Alcoholic Mushroom Tea

This weekend I'm doing 3-3.5 grams of mushrooms. I've never mixed alcohol with mushrooms, and I was thinking of brewing the mushrooms into a tea, and then adding rum to the tea. Does anyone know if the alcohol will kill the psylocybin?
 
not sure if it would, but id say if your intent on doing it, just gulp down the tea and then toss on a few shots of rum. personally i hate the combo of shrooms and alcohol. though a shot or two at the tail end of the trip can be nice.
 
I definitely don't mind drinking a beer or three while coming up on the shroom high. Though lately that'd be the psilacetin high, but either way, it has a great calming effect IMO.
 
Alcohol can add some stomach problems as well as diminish the effects of the mushrooms. Alcohol in my experience doesn't go well with psychedelics. A beer might be fine, but I wouldn't go over that.
 
I've never combined the two, what don't you like about it?

this is a personal thing, as im sure others enjoy the combo, but alcohol dulls my senses and kinda messes up the trip imo (i cant really describe this better) but i feel the alcohol takes a lot of the penetrative insights that shrooms can produce. however, a bit of alcohol on the come up or down i dont mind, but not near enough to get drunk.

this is all imo, you might like it, cant know till you try
 
I find that alcohol and 2C-B/I/C (in decending order) assuming you're going for pure recreation, not insight or anything.
