It really depends on your total drinking history...

How long have you been drinking for?
In an average week, how many days do you drink?

Have you ever experienced withdrawals before?
Alcohol withdrawals is variant for everyone - Some people have no withdrawals symptoms while others have seizures, nightmarish hallucinations, elevated blood pressure, sweats, insomnia etc. In medical detoxes, withdrawal is tracked by taking a series of blood pressure readings and looking for other markers of withdrawal symptoms - it is then treated using (typically) a long-acting benzodiazepine like diazepam (valium) or chlordiazepoxate (librium) or lorazepam (ativan). Medication is used to reduce symptoms to a mangeable level and then slowly tapered over time.
If you have a blood pressure cuff, it'd be wise to measure your blood pressure and note if it seems abnormally elevated (160/100 or greater)
Are you using any medications to assist with withdrawal?
