Alcohol Alcohol vs. Benzos. Which one is more euphoric/awesome?

I am a lightweight, but I have ALWAYS loved me some Benzo's. I feel like they are very euphoric at first, but after an hour or two, I just want more of something/anything and almost always end up using meth. The "needing something" feeling I find to be quite uncomfortable and I noticed that over the years it gets worse but also I noticed if I am up several days on amps, I really enjoy having a benzo to help me chill out and come down.

I have tried to start drinking as a way to deal with stuff more adulty. I find that using amps, benzos or even opiates has just lead to more issues but alcohol really hasn't as long as I don't drive.

Does anyone else crave meth when they use Benzos? Sometimes I start craving it within minutes of them kicking in.

I personally did not get on with 'Captain Cook' as he has cleverly named himself, but his medicinal chemistry is extremely good. NOT perfect - and that is why we don't get on. The problem is, if YOU are happy to take all of the credit then you equally should take all the criticism. But no, if any mistakes were made, it's some uncredited post doctorate student in his team.

I don't dig that. WE as a team developed our products and not one of us intends to become known. Why would we? It's the product that matters, not the people.

BUT I say again - the guy spent a decade on benzos and got most of them made... not all. But don't mention that, it won't make him happy.

Wow. I have to reread some, but it looks like this guy synthgesized some kind of super-benzo with cures to schizophrenia, polio, inflammatory disease and even addiction itself. Maybe I am misreading?

I took some Valium the other day. I should have waited until I was drunk, because I went straight to Meth. They helped a lot with my mouth pain though, which was great. Right when they kicked in the pain melted away. I take suboxone, so I told my doc that I needed Benzos instead. He gave me a tiny amount, which is frustrating, but luckily it was enough to help with the pain. I just wish alcohol wasn't so gross.

5-20mg diazepam, 1-3 0.3liter cider bottles, a glass of absinthe waragi or dutch Ketel 1 Jenever gin, its all good but not too often. Memantine is superior. Works all day, feels like Ether, nitrous or ketamine, dextrometorphan or booze. Much healthier.

10mg is a beer that lasts all day, without a comedown, antidepressant and antianxiety too.

I adore the taste of Apple Bandit 5% Cider, especially on a hot day. I love Brand beer from Limburg, holland. fuck Heineken. Guinness is good.

Temazepam is far more euphoric then alcohol imo

Used to love jellys ,isn't it funny how when you were younger [like 17] you could take them or leave them and they seemed to get you fucked for days ,a cup of tea and you could feel your leg muscles relax .to much of a good thing catches up on you I suppose

Alcohol is definitely more euphoric, but benzos, when used sensibly, can be kept under the radar, simply because they don't make you stink like a trump's underpants.

However, when not used sensibly, you're fucked...

K pins or valium and dihdrocodine, will send you to sleep but only if you bring alchohal into mix ,even just 2 beers and you start having to pop pro plus which works for an hour or so and beats actual caffeine hands down but makes you feel shitty next day

Never tried meth or herion but I'm guessing due to my addictive nature I would crave it.

SO! I am have always kind of, embrassingly enough, been a tad bit anti-achohol. I get so much shit for using meth in my life, so many problems from using benzodiazapines, and so much destruction from just being idiotic on drugs in general, that I have actually discovered that I kinda like alcohol..

So! My body has kind of a reaction to alcohol. I get sick. Just taking a couple shots makes me gag, sometimes even throw up in my mouth. I get heartburn somewhat easily, and my body just kinda rejects it. I tried meth at kind of a young age, same with benzos. I guess I was just lazy. I was like "Well, this makes me feel bad/pukey, and that makes me feel good and I just take a pill! OKAY!"

Well I met a special woman who just sipped vodka. I started trying that more and realizing I kinda enjoy it! So I was VERY curious to know what you guys think? Both benzos and alcohol work on a similar brain receptor, the gaba receptor so WHATS the difference really???

What do you think it more fun/euphoric? Benzos or Alcohol?

these drugs should only be used sparingly, so in the context of occasional use, xanax is definitely better than alcohol in terms of enjoyment imo, although a few beers could be more enjoyable in a social setting

if you get sick from alcohol its because you are drinking too fast. i don't believe in shots personally, i think 40% alcohol to the dome is more damaging / nausea inducing than anything. i prefer a modest 12-15% alcohol at most. take it slow

I have a draught beer machine and 2 or 3 glasses of good beer is def more euphoric, any more you just get drunk which is no fun on your own it should fill an evening and as long as not doing it every night you will feel fine the next day.it winds you down after a stressful day .benzos just give brain fog

I love Henry westens cider it's nearly 9 percent per 500ml bottle and its quality cider .it gives me an amazing buzz but with scotlands minimum pricing per unit of alcohol its expensive so I normaly buy 2 .

i forgot to note that congeners also matter beyond hydration etc (dirty alcohol byproducts). they contribute to hangovers although i'm not sure how to tell which brands clean them out or not, other than price. i just know the cheaper alcohol is shittier for that reason

thats all down to taste preferences. i much preferred lagavulin 16 or laphroig. and there are tons of drastically cheaper, relatively young irish whiskys that wont break the bank.

but hangover is all dehydration + rebound from however drunk someone happened to get. something with crazy sugar levels like fortified port and many popular drinks in the US isn't gonna help.

I’d have to ask which benzos you’ve taken? Cause there are a few that I dislike- but I love Valium. I’d take 2 x 10 mg Valium over booze any day. But as it was stated in earlier posts- it can trigger urges to use other things sometimes, lower inhibition, cause dependency etc. but alcohol does the exact same. Benzos would be easier to function for me since it doesnt have an odour and I can control myself much easier.
For some reason clonazepam just blacks me out, lorazepam makes me super tired- but diazepam works wonders in regards to my anxiety
