Alcohol Question

I recently had an acute kidney injury, not from alcohol.

It has been 3-4 days since I've felt pain and my kidneys *MAY* be working fully, when I left the hospital my body levels, like sodium, creatinine and such were normal.

I would like to know if I can safely get drunk with drinking a lot of water? I know it's safe to drink in low moderation daily, 1 drink a day is actually good for the kidneys according to an advanced study.

Anyway, I know it's not safe to drink but I am young and this is my first organ failure situation... could really use some factual advice rather than opinions like "be safe and don't drink". Not being a dick or trying to be stupid but I'd like to have some fun since it's been like 3 - 4 months since I've had even a buzz..

You're throwing me off with this 'advanced studies' thing.

Obviously you know you have a system in decline...I guess...if you really just had to you could test it and see how much it would take to fuck it up again?

P.S. there are many other ways to get 'a buzz' that don't involve specifically stressing your kidneys.

Sorry, I have no studies for you though, on that unique issue.

P.P.S: be safe don't drink. :)

P.P.P.S:
Enjoy your kidneys while they last...

Use weed instead?

Sounds like you have your mind made up, seems like a questionable decision to drink shortly after a kidney injury but as long as you know it's a bad idea. Only if necessary, I would recommend drinking very lightly, limit to one drink per hour maybe two to catch a buzz and don't exceed more than a few drinks if you must do it.

I actually ended up smoking weed even though it was finally out of my body. I don't smoke anymore, it trips me out and makes me psychotic, this time was the worst, I was quite homicidal, and I know my buds. It was a 'decent' sativa, wasn't laced, I'd be better off if it was laced... Any drug except alcohol makes a weed-high better, even though it ruins everything.

I would've took some pills but the town has been dead for like 3 - 4 months, so I'm stuck with alcohol...
