Alcohol question

I am looking to try some new alcoholic beverages, but I'm not sure what direction to take...
To give you some brief history on myself and alcohol...I have only gotten drunk twice in my life. I greatly dislike the smell and taste of most alcohol. I can't stand any kind of beer. The times I have gotten drunk involved mixed drinks (vodka, rum etc. mixed with enough other crap to lessen the alcohol taste.)
I am just looking for suggestions of stuff I can try, with little/none of that bitter alcohol taste, that will get me drunk in a relatively short amount of time. My brother told me about a mixed drink he tried a few nights ago...said the stuff tasted exactly like Jolly Ranchers. (He also said it fucked him up real good too.)
I'm just looking for ideas, whether they be something I can pick up at the liquor store right now, or stuff I can mix to make a great drink. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

TheProphet - If you're out for a night on the town, I would recommend "LA Water" or "Scooby Snacks." I don't know what LA Water has in it, but you'll like it; it's like Kool-aid (brown Kool-aid albeit) with not enough water in it. Scooby Snacks have Malibu Rum, Midori melon liqueur and some type of milk product (milk, half-and-half, etc.). If you're home, there's always Smirnoff Ice, or Squirt, as we like to call it.

I hear ya, I do not like the taste of beer at all, and if I do drink it's mixed drinks or an occasional shot.

Try coolers man - pre mixed drinks
like blueberry and vodka etc they usually disguise the alcohol taste real well.
You'll get used to the taste of beer and alcohol if you drink much though, not many ppl like the taste when they first start drinking..
also try this one:
230ml's of pinapple juice
20 ml vodka
50 ml midori
30 ml cointreu
ice
put all these things into a shaker, mix them up and pour.
They called illusions they are really good.

It's true, you'll get socially accustomed to liking, then craving, beer. In which case, you wouldn't be caught dead with a wine cooler, pink drink, or any other fruity-drink.

I've had Jolly Ranchers...good stuff...I think it's something like Midori, vodka, and sour apple mix...with some other stuff thrown in...yes, it tastes exactly like a Jolly Rancher, and yes it will fizuck you up...
If you want something just for the novelty of it, try a Cement Mixer...pour a little bit of Bailey's Irish Cream into a shot of Captain Morgan...the Irish Cream will curdle and feel all soft and furry in your mouth...you will either love it or hate it, but the important thing is to try it. And try not to look at it before you drink it.

Zima or Hard Lemonade if you want drinks you can actually enjoy, or if you want to get drunk, slam a few shots of 151 then go back to drinking something that TASTE GOOD (ie Coke)
IMO, if you want the "drunk high" then go for some benzos.... there is no excuse for alcohol!

My friend Stephen makes this AWESOME drink that many of his friends swear doesn't taste alcoholic. I don't know the exact proportions, but add as much of the acohol as you can handle the taste of...
-2-3 parts collins mix
-1 part vodka
-1 part chambourd (decadent rasperry liquor)
-splash of lime juice
...pour oevr ice and enjoy, it's delicious!

that drinks is a sex on the beach even though i think you mean midori not lime juice. try absolute madrin and red bull. just becareful with all these sweet drinks there going to get you hella fucked up and way hung over from all the sugar in them. as someone else said try the smirnoff ice or mike hards leamonade there ment for people like you.

But there is this one drink that I just love - its called a dream cicle or soemthin like that-- it consists of:
orange juice
half n' half
armarillo
and plenty of ice
its the best drink in the world as far as i'm concerned, it doesn't taste like alcohol at all, as long as you dont put tons of amarillo in it.... try it

As PhreeX said, Zima's, try putting 1 or 2 Jlly Ranchers in there and they'll taste better.
