alcohol+pk's

i have heard people talk about how doing alcohol and other downers at the same time is such a deadly mix, but how deadly?
if i drink 2 beers and take 1 lortab (hydrocodone), will this have the same affect as 2 lortabs? more effect?
i believe they are 350 mg's.

If they are "lortab" brand, than they are 5,7.5 or 10mg of hydrocodone and 500mg of acetaminophen. A couple of those and a few beers generally are not harmful( provided you do not have a problem using either one separately). The worst problem is, the acetaminophen and alcohol together can be taxing on the liver.

as long as you dont take like 4 pills and drink a 12 pack, you should be fine.... I have a heavy tolerance and it takes 15 beers to get me blitzed, but I took two Vicodin ES and drank a sixer and I was feeling great. Its a little different when you combine them, than each one is seperate, if that makes any sense...

As Percatrip mentioned, the only real risk comes from the combined effects of the alcohol and APAP, both can be har on the liver as well as the kidneys - well, the truth is hat unless you're poping insane amount of these things this isn't a concern... so there really isn't a risk with this combo .. if you have NO tollerance then I imagine you might catch a baby-buzz off of 2 pills (assuming they are 10mg each) and a few beers.. I would take at least 3 to start with but YMMV ..
BTW, the "350mg" is the measure of the secondary drug, either APAP (as it sounds to be in your case), ibuprofen or asprin...
