alcohol like effect : Xanax vs (Lyrica/Baclofen) Combo

Which gives better alcohol like effects anixolytic ....... xanax or lyrica/baclofen combo which i heard works similar to GHB which is similar to alcohol but again we got benzos thats popular.

IMHO xanax gives me a more "blackout" drunk feeling and lyrica gives me a more controlled just enjoying life without the nausea drunk feeling. hope this helps

Benzos for me feel like being drunk without any of the positive aspects. All of the coordination and memory loss with none of the mood lift and mild euphoria.

For me the lyrica/baclofen combo is euphoric and recreational while xanax is dull, generically intoxicating, but superior for relaxing and anxiolysis... well for panic attacks at least. For me lyrica is miles ahead in terms of therapeutic benefit of SAD and GAD. Xanax may take away any anxiety from social situations but it does nothing for my drive to seek out conversation. I sure wouldn't go to a party on xanax with the intention of driving up conversations, that's for sure.

At "recreational" doses of xanax I either do stupid shit or veg out (and say stupid shit whenever I do open my mouth). Lyrica boosts my confidence (more than even coke if I'm being honest) and makes me want to socialize with a clear head. I'd personally take the lyrica/baclofen (or even just lyrica) over xanax for recreational and social purposes any day of the week, It's all preference though... I'm sure I get way more out of both lyrica and gabapentin than most others.

What dose of lyrica do u use ? And is it true that it takes couple of days to build tolerance and also just a couple of days to lose tolerance ?
