how much does alcohol increase the deffects of dxm ive done my susual max dos. which is somewhere around 300mg but im feeling kinda weird

Alcohol, like DXM, also effects the NMDA receptors, which are responsible for most of DXM's subjective effects(this is also the reason why people black out after drinking too much). How much it will effect you is individual, and strongly advise you to take it easy - remember you can always take another dose, but you can't take a dose back. Also, if the DXM you are taking has acetaminophen with it, do not consume alcohol concurently, as you run the very real risk of acute liver failure.

you run the risk of acute liver failure taking recreational doses of APAP-containing DXM period, which is why you always make sure you know what you're buying.

I've found that a little alcohol (1-2 drinks) before taking DXM can suppress nausea and ease one into the experience. drink too much though, and you'll likely be puking your guts up before long.
