Alcohol hours after DXM

So I took 255mg DXM which is a low 2nd plateau dose that I like, gives a good mild feeling. Then after that made plans to go out tonight. Bad timing haha.

I took the 255mg DXM by Robitussin pills at 4, just kicked in now at 5 and plan on starting to drink around 10. Beer, not liquor, and not excessive. I've read here about horrors of the mix but only drunk then taking dxm or taking them at the same time but nothing relating to my situation here. Should any problems arise? Thanks

Moderate alcohol is nice on top of DXM at that dosage in my experience. I would much rather smoke some mj while dexing than drink though.

if you mix alcohol and dxm youll just be all fucked up. i passed out and woke barely able to see straight. i had a 40 and 350 dxm a couple hours later.

I took 960mgs dxm and about 5 hours later i drank like 5 shots of vodka and things got verrrrrrrrrrrry weird. Like i couldnt tell if i was tripping or just dreaming....ended up going home about an hour after and passed out. Woke up the next morning in my brothers bedroom and he said i asked to sleep on the floor because i was scared of something, which is weird because when i was younger i used to do it all the time but obv when your 17 and u ask to sleep in your brothers room it isnt normal. Im pretty sure i blacked out for most of the time after i drank the alcohol.....its not a good mix, at least not in high doses IMO

OP-I dont think you will have any problems....you will just get a way harder buzz way quicker then your used too, 3 beers will feel like 6 easily and the drunk is more euphoric was well. I would deff say to make sure you eat something before you go out tho to soak up some of the dxm or else you run the risk of feeling sick.

OP: you are going to be fine, just don't get shit faced. Mixing a little booze with moderate dose of DXM is okay, but it isn't safe. Alcohol, a shot or a beer is good with dosing, it helps DXM to absorb faster.

Besides, at 10 pm, you will start feeling sober. I normally enjoy a beer or two after a trip, but more than that makes me feel like I am tripping again. But each of us are different.
