Alcohol + Codiene

I had 2 panadiene forte pills (60mg codeine) tonight with about 6 drinks. I felt really social and danced all night, basically it was a really good high for me. Is this dangerous, do other people do this? Would it be better to CWE the codeine rather then take it with paracetamol?

yeah don't drink and take any APAP, extract 'em. at those amounts I wouldn't think it's unsafe, I usually take more like 300mg codeine with no tolerance, and have layered 6-7 drinks on top of that to no ill effect. downers + downers is always sketch to some extent though

I googled Panadeine Forte and found out that each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol and 30 mg codeine phosphate. Alcohol with paracetamol is very bad for the liver. I guess you could take 2 of the pills and drink, but just lower your alcohol intake.
I have taken Vicodin and Percocet (which contain narcotics with paracetamol) and drank before without a problem, just don't make it a constant thing and always lower your alcohol intake. If you could, I would suggest you CWE, if you are planning on taking more than 2 or 3 pills.
