so i got a friend who drinks a LOT of vodka. and shes only 17 and its literally every weekend shes out drinking it. and its never anything else. usually 300 - 350 ml.
im just wondering how long the lining in her stomach is gonna tollerate it?
she dilutes it a lot but isnt it still pretty bad?

That's kinda young to be boozing it up - but vodka isn't any worse than any other form of alcohol (actually probably less damaging, as it's got less other crap in it).

That level and frequency of drinking is very common among college students, and they don't seem to be having serious problems from it. I'm not sure why you cite stomach lining, as that's not usually the organ people worry about with heavy drinking.

^^ maybe its just scare stories but ive heard heavy drinking with spirits causes the lining to wear away. and shes not in college she's got a year of school left

yeah thats not that much for once a week and if she dillutes it s not as bad for the stomach. also, there is really no way to predict. i mean some alcoholics DIE from liver failure before their stomach ever give out like jack kerouac for example. then other alcoholics like myself, had to stop drinking after just a few years because the lining of my stomach became so irritated i wass in INTENSE pain every day even though my liver was still perfectly healthy.
