alcohol and gaba drugs cross tolerance?

Finally got off gabapentin, after getting off heroin. Now I drink occasionally but I feel shitty the next couple of days after. Not like a hangover but like mild gabapentin wds. So because I was addicted physically to gabapentin, does that mean I probably can't drink without this happening. And by occasional drinking I mean 6-7 beers twice a month. Not a huge drinker.

yes, you could definitely make a case for drinking reigniting your gabapentin withdrawals. been through the exact same scenario.
