I had some questions about alcohol and clonazepam.

Which is easier to become dependant on?

What would be the equivalent of alcohol to clonazepam?

How much can you take of both and avoid dependance?

Thanks

You would more quickly develop dependence on clonazepam.

There is no real equivalent. These are two different drugs. Although they have similar actions in some respects, the "Buzz" is very different.

As long as you don't use either every day (for example you only use on the weekends) dependence won't be an issue. However, alcohol and benzos combine for a POWERFUL effect. You will almost certainly black out. You are likely to do stupid things (which you won't remember) for example drinking more and taking more pills, possibly leading to death by CNS depression. Additionally, you could injure yourself from falling, or walking into traffic. Honestly, if you are going to mix the two, do so VERY carefully. I would stick to 0.5 to 1mg of clonazepam, and no more than 3 drinks. You will feel like you just slammed a dozen beers. I would seriously caution you to just avoid this combo. It can be extremely dangerous. The danger can't be over stated.

Yeah. Alcohol and benzos are an ugly combo. My younger brother recently had to go to the hospital because he was abusing his xanax and drinking tequila one night, came home and wanted to get more of a buzz and took more xanax. Well that last xanax proved to be a near fatal decision. He stumbled around the house all night than passed out and in the AM wouldent wake up, shook him, screamed at him, smacked him and he was just laying there with his eyes half open no responding. Not untill the ambulance came to take him did he finally kind of come to, looking really grogy and extremely confused. Deff not a good combo IMO. Would NEVER recomend it.
