Hello all,

I'm currently drinking alcohol every day from morning till night. I wanted to try taking some buproprion to help with my general low mood. Is there any reason not to do this? Will it negate the effects of the bupropion? Anything I should watch out for?

I'm over the acute withdrawals, I think

Thanks in advance

Max

Edit: Does it kick in straight away or does it take weeks to build up like SSRIs etc? I couldn't find a straight answer online

Never noticed Bupropion, but that was for ADHD.
After being on MethylPhenidate, shitty side effect/ no legs.
And Dextro-Amphetamine IR which was perfect.

So Bupropion whatever it does i didn t notice.
Still smoked Tobacco during no problem,
maybe noticed some minor side effects/ or lack off effects ?

Have you tried reducing/ tapering/ quittin Alcohol.
As that defenitely is, one cause at least of bad mood,
not meaning the mayor cause.

But att the most prominent, maybe your covering pain/ trauma/ ... ?

Yeah I've tried cutting down but it hasn't worked as of yet, I bought a box of Nitrazepam to help but I ended up eating the whole box in a day (Fairly sure it was very underdosed)

I can usually taper with alcohol alone, it just takes a few tries

Thanks
