Alcohal makes you crave tobacco

Tobacco is so very addictive to start, and drinking does a wonderful job at lowering your inhibitions. Even if you're trying to quit smoking, after a few drinks it's very easy to rationalize running to the convenience store to buy 'one last pack'.

Something about having a smoke while being buzzed is distinctly enjoyable as well.

Perhaps someone else will have some more scientific insight.

I like it. Why is this tobbacco so addictive? I don't know why I want one I just do. It don't get you high ar anything unless you have been quit a bit, and then it only lasts a few minutes. Why do I want something so destructive
, makes traveling suck worse, and doesent inebreate you???

IDK I pretty much chain smoke anyway. If you only crave them when you drink STOP NOW. I guarantee a year from now it won't matter if you're drinking or not.

Alcohol makes me so god damn hungry!

My uncle told me that most drinkers were also smokers since the tobacco got them drunker. I don't know how much truth there is in that.

not true. iv'e enjoyed cigarettes many times while drinking and still do, even when im sober. for over four years. but i have never gotten addicted to cigarettes and don't buy packs.

I think they may potentiate each other to a degree. There is talks on a study about the dopamine release here:

But I'm not sure how valid it is since it isn't cited very well. But it would make sense I guess. When you are drinking you want to prolong the euphoria effect so always end up drinking more. I guess substituting another drink for a cigarette has a similar effect.
