Any members here familiar with the drug scene in Alabama? It seems a lot of the prescription meds that were easily available have all but dried up. Maybe a bust went down..xanex has become very hard to come by. Not to mention most all other opiates. Hard drugs and bud are always here, and will remain. Don't know what the hell happened. I posted this thread to hopefully meet any members from down here in the south..

I'm from Birmingham. Prescription opiate prices skyrocketed after the florida pill mills dried up. Most people have moved on to heroin. Far as Xanax goes its around for same price as always has been for me. Where you at in the state?

I'm in the Montgomery area, I figured the heat on Florida had something to do with the dry up. As far as xanex it seems my reliable sources I used are not so reliable anymore. I get 60 blues a month but that ain't close to what I was taking for the past 7 years. I was getting 90 bars a month then my primary doc switched to geriatrics. So I've been screwed up since, my sub doctor will only gibe me the blues and I had to beg for those. I have tried other docs and it seems docs are cracking down on the benzo's. I got some 1mg klonopin. The girl told me they are the equivalent to a blue..is that true? I know the half life is longer but it don't feel the same, not even close.

There are no meet-up / roll-call threads allowed in NASADD.
I'll leave this thread open for the sake of discussing the scene down there but if this ends up leading to sourcing or people meeting up with one another it will be closed. Please be careful to mind the rules before making questionable posts...

And as far as you saying you used to get bars but got switched to generics- bars VS other types of pills doesn't have anything to do with it being generic or not. There are many many generic 2mg bars out there, it's actually pretty uncommon to come across name brand xanax in most parts of the country.

Also, it's spelled Xanax, there is no e in the word. Nbd,js.
