actually, duration of the effects are from 8-9 hours, the after effects usually can lost longer. i did not have any trouble sleaping near the 11 hour mark and i didn't found the effects of 5-meo-amt speedy or restless wich i did have on amt. oh and i do consider 5-meo-amt a worthy substance, every one of them has their own unique way of altering perception, i see them as a gift, not something uninteresting.;)

it definately felt much much more like LSD than any other substance I have ever encountered.

any experienced lsd user (arcarsenal for example) could have no trouble pointing out different trips. two substances can never feel the same, they maybe show some effects resembling each other, but will always feel different. i think that AL-LAD can't be forgotten, let's have some hope, don't be so negative, try to think positively people.:)
 
hmmm I had an experience similiar to that in NYC, I got what I was told was white crystal LSD on unperforated colored blotter free from a guy at a moe show. Your description of curiousity instead of fear was exactly like my experience, I wasn't the least bit nervous and the trip was very calm, mellow and pleasant but still felt A LOT like acid, and I onl consumed about the equivalent of 1/4" square of blotter.

Only one of my four LSD experiences have had elements of fear/anxiety. The first time I tripped "hard" on LSD I was actually amazed at how little urge I had to freak out ... overwhelmingly LSD, at least at the wimpy doses I take, makes me feel exceptionally calm and clearheaded.

Chemicals like AL-LAD and ALD-52 fascinate me to no end... what a bummer they're among the hardest to find in the world. 8)
 
I just think it was LSD, but I could be wrong. I always feel very clear headed and calm no matter how much of a dose I take. Who knows I could be wrong.

Arcarsenal - isn't that the name of an ATDI song?
 
I've had "acid" trips that I never questioned were LSD, at the time, but when I look back on them, some of the trips seemed different. After reading about some of the LSD myths, I have been curious why the liquid LSD seemed different than blotter, with what seemed like a "cleaner" trip. Acording to what I've read I cannot explain apparent differences, so there must be a some possibillity that there are variations. Some people say shrooms are nothing like LSD, but I've always thought they had alot of common ground.
