AL-LAD and 4-ACO-DMT combo-A Match made in Heaven
AL-LAD 600 ug
4-ACO-DMT 30 mg
Experience-Lots of LSD, AL-LAD, LSZ, Mushrooms, DMT, Mescaline a few times.
I have been loving AL-LAD since I tried it two years ago. I have been dipping into my 2013 stash as of late. I also have a large supply of 4-aco-dmt in storage, and just lately discovered its lush, beauty.
The last couple of experiences with AL-LAD, I decided to, after the peak, ingest some 4-aco-dmt, with phenomenal results. And because the two are both so easy on the body as far as come up and body load are concerned, it just seemed a natural combo.
16:00 Took 600 of AL all at once. Usually I'd do 450, but my tolerance is high-ish from dropping 3 times in the last month.
16:30- Coming up on the AL fast and hard. Lots of indicators, salivating like a mofo, and visuals beginning.
By 17:30 fully engulfed in a AL-LAD experience. I have been making most of my trips lately musical ones, where I get all my gear together (DAP, headphone amp, Sennheisers, etc) and lie down and listen to music. I have always felt that AL is best at higher doses, and I've had some transcendental times with the heaphones on.
17:30 to about 20:30, I was gone in an amazing world of COV's, story lines being written in my mind unrelated to the music itself, strange and beautiful images and visuals all rather specific to AL, with lots of color, shapes, geometry, and strange archetypes represented. For the record, it seems that often AL-LAD COV's involve birds at some point. Birds soaring, flying, fluttering wings, feathers, etc. This theme is common for me with the substance, especially with music synesthesia. Also, it seems that stories evolve, created by the mind, that have nothing what so ever to do with lyrical content or thematics. This played itself out a great deal in my recent experiences with high doses of AL-LAD. It's involving, fascinating, beautiful, emotionally laden, and somewhat spiritual. As an example, I was listening to Evanescence's "The Open Door", mostly because I love Amy Lee's voice, and a whole story, replete with intense CEV's played out in my mind. Most of this was related to longing, pain, suffering, beauty, and was told in the mind's eye with great emotional force and felt very intimate. There were times during the listening that I was almost brought to tears by her voice, and again...it felt very spiritual. For those that don't feel that AL-LAD is deep or spiriual, I will say that at high doses, where I think it shines, it can be incredibly deep. Not in an LSD way, per se, but just in that cognition, perception, emotion, etc., are all heightened to the point of overwhelming one with some incredible insight and feelings that are both intimate and very grandiose.So no, you won't necessarily experience some of the head-fuck that LSD can provide, you can have manageable but challenging experiences. I've tripped a good deal over time, and did lots of LSD, and it's almost a nice break to not have my ass handed to me, though getting your ass handed to you is a great learning tool, in my opinion.
20:30 At this point, maybe 3 or so hours in with the AL-LAD, I decided to take 30 mgs of 4-ACO-DMT.
21:30 The 4-ACO-DMT has kicked in fully at this point, and I resume my listening experience with the incredible visuals of that compound and the beginning of a similar but also much different mental experience. Let me say that for the record, 4-ACO-DMT has some COV's that are VERY much like n,n, DMT.
I'll give and example. At one point, I was listening to a Brahms piece, a Violin Concerto (Op. 66, part 3, I believe) which is super bombastic. Well, at one point in the middle to the end, suddenly, in my mind's eye, I am above a HUGE city. This city is like a gigantic cube which spins, rotates, and the buildings rise and fall in conjunction with the music. I felt as though I was literally miles above this city, which was being controlled by the music, watching it flip, spin rotate, so on. I could see, with incredible detail, buildings rising and falling, while the "huge city" rotated in mid air, to the music. It was among the most breathtaking scenes I have ever seen, and was VERY reminiscent of breakthrough or near breakthrough DMT experiences I've had. It's one of the beautiful things about 4-ACO, in my opinion: It's like psilocybin, but far clearer, cleaner, and more colorful. Not that mushrooms aren't, and I've done as much as 7 grams of really good mushrooms. Those big mushroom doses are incredible, and I've been put through the ringer with shrooms. They are unforgiving at times, whereas 4-ACO-DMT gives this hybridized psychedelic experience that is a lot like other psychedelics, but is very much its own thing, as it were.
Anyway, that's it for now, but let me say that this combo, that is, AL-LAD and 4-ACO-DMT, is phenomenal. Now of course I did not take them at the same time, again, took the 4 well after the peak of AL-LAD, but what remained of the AL and what the 4 brought to the table at that point is magical. Not only that, but with the passing of the AL-LAD peak, bringing the 4 on board at that point is just as right as rain, for those willing to give it a go. I may even try dropping 40 mg of 4-aco-DMT next time, for shits and giggles.
