so yeah im just wondering if there is a (fairly) simple way to reduce the caustic nature of AH 7921? Is it inherently caustic? or could the ph of a solution for plugging be reduced/increased to make it possible to plug? is AH 7921 acidic? or basic? any ideas anyone?

also i dont know if i have the freebase or a salt if that makes a difference

ah-7921 hcl would be acidic in solution

you can buffer it back to around ph neutral by adding bicarbonate or borate or some other weak base, i think

ok i just plugged 50-60mg AH 7921 with a half tab of tums (calcium carbonate?) in 7ml of water. there was not "Immediate Emergency Evac Of Bowels" so maybe this does work? then again i had previously put 10-12mg of 2ce up there an hour or so ago which was MUCH more uncomfortable. so much for unbiased and objective research eh...?
