While I believe that there is some kind of "higher power/Creator of the whole "She-bang" I don't feel that most of the worlds religions have "got it right." I've read much of the Theosophic Society's Literature over the years and seem to find it closer to the probable than most religions. The concept that this is a classroom for the soul and we "repeat grades" until we get it right then advance onto the next "grade" makes a lot of sense. Reincarnating over and over till Spiritual advancement is made and so on. Any others with similar thoughts? :)
 
I can respect theosophy's syncretic attempts to make a system that takes the good from many different faiths and puts them to practical use.

Unfortunately, most theosophic texts are so verbose and semantic that it's hard to make heads or tails of them.

My preference at this point is for modern texts written by scholars who have taken the time to digest and process older systems, while rewording it into compatible formats. The theosophic charts of the energetic fields, for example, are grossly over-complicated.
