Hey all,

Lucky people l(ike myself, ho ho ho) still have access to the old OCs to enjoy from time to time. However, my last purchase was a bit disappointing. I realize that no matter how many people have stockpiled the old OCs, there is one major issue.... time. These OCs are getting old and you can tell... the potency is just not there anymore on these OCs im getting and its not my tolerance... other opiates let me know where my tolerance is at.

The way I know an OC is old is the way the blue coating peels off. A fresh OC it peels off like a banana peel, but an old one the coating solidifies more and it is harder to remove.

Anyone notice this? Are your OCs losing potency as well? Also, what do you guys think about my blue coating theory; have you guys noticed this on older less potent OCs? I wonder how long it takes for these things to lose potency

If you put a percentage on it how strong would you say they are? Like 80% of normal? I've had slightly old OC's that peeled the way you say but didn't notice a difference otherwise except for the taste - slightly less bitter.

I've also eaten a bottle of Percodan from 1991 and it felt fine, like maybe 80%-70% as strong as normal. I believe the shelf life for opiates is pretty long normally and expiration dates are bs.

it takes quite a few years for any real potency loss to occur.....like a decade...the exp date is just for legal reasons.....

id bet its your tolerance, i know you said its not.....but you would be surprised at the factors......

the OPs are just new this year, so i would suspect your pills are not even that old......unless by chance they happen to be very old......

yea they seem to be like 75% of normal.

The source of my OCs is someone who has them stockpiled for a very long time. I get a feeling he sells the oldest ones first to me to get rid of them. Theres a good possibility they are 4+ years old I'd estimate. I know the OPS just came off but after getting these old OCs, it is a preminition of things to come for OC eventually (before they are all eaten & sniffed up, that is)
