After MDMA I am confused if I'm high or happy now!

Hello All

I have been taken MDMA for a year now, I was probably overdosing in the first 2 months but now I use it in moderation (~120mg/night max) and much more seldomly (6 weeks+).

I have recently noticed the phenomenon where I can be listening to the music that I would normally listen to whilst on MDMA. And I feel like I am actually on MDMA. I'm not sure if this is just me feeling happy or perhaps my brain associates the music with MDMA so it pretends that I have taken it? This will happen even after a 2 month break from MDMA so it's not like it could be an afterglow.

Another perhaps different example is when I went mountain biking. I have never done it before but I felt a big rush doing it. It felt like I was on MDMA, I found myself gurning for quite some time after. I'm not sure what's going on here, if this is how I am supposed to feel? Perhaps I'm so used to feeling high/happy on MDMA that I find happy experiences without it bizarre and unnatural? Can anyone else relate? Or am I just weird? Thanks!

this is completely normal. there are a few tracks i've heard while rolling many years ago, that still give me a mini-rush and make me want to lock my jaw and make funny faces even though i haven't rolled in years.
it's same thing as feeling a bit like tripping when watching the stars at a psy festival or feeling like you're a child walking home from primary school when smelling the exhaust gases of a 20 year old car driving by ;). music is a powerful inducer of such phenomena and so are smells.
 
I've found that when I use mdma heavily the after effects last very often and I'm left with a sense that everything feels kind of fake. This seems to last around a week or so after binging, meaning not single use. I'm actually in it right now and I experience the exact same thing that you are talking about except it seems to happen when I drive at night. Something about it starts making me have this weird psycedelic feeling and my gf even mentions that my eyes are quite dilated days after use at random times.

You gotta be careful with mdma it def can bite you in the ass if used unproperly, I still don't feel totally back to normal and it's been about a week since I rolled.
 
Do you test your drugs with a testkit? Adding (untested) prefix in the mean time, let me know if you did test. Nothing further to add, the above replies are correct =D
