Opioids After Amphetamines (Stimulants), I Can't Get High on Opiates...What Gives?

Hi,

Just recently, I had a run (not a binge, just a couple of doses) of stimulants (bk-MDMA, 4-FA, and 4-MMC to be exact all on different occasions not the same day) and I would take an equivalent dose of opiates that would get me feeling pretty good, but I didn't feel SHIT :(!!! All I felt was some heaviness in my legs that I always get on opiates and some analsgia (pain relief) of course, but I didn't feel anything at all. Nothing. What gives?

Do all the stimulants use up all the the "happy chemicals" or something and maybe that is the reason I can't get high (or at least feel something) from the opiates? Does anyone experience this same thing?

Stimulants tend to overpower opiates. Gotta take more to feel it. This is because (I think) opiates are downers. The opiates euphoria will synergize with amphetamine euphoria but its hit or miss for me. And I'm talking about adderall, dunno about yours.
 
i have had similar problems combining opiates with other drugs. for instance, i thought MDMA plus heroin would be the most euphoric combo imaginable but instead i could barely feel the heroin. When I mix heroin with LSD, its the same deal, except once i start coming down from the LSD. then heroin is wonderful and brings the trip back.

Yeah I think that could def. be the case. It was kinda frustrating but I know some of these stims do deplete a lot of brain chemicals. I didn't feel anything, just the heaviness in the legs and the pain relief, but zero euphoria at all.

I'll prob. have to give it at least a few days I would imagine...
