It's a smile
a warm, gentle smile
that comes to mind most often.

Two strong arms around me
it's warm and dark here.
Comforting.

Rhythmic breathing
calm surrounding
a safe haven.

When all I have been offered
is disappointment and pain
one thing, yet still remains.

Here, here I may return
to as an escape.
Here, here is my acceptence.

Now I find a recharting
of my fate.

Here, here is where I want
to be.

Now, maybe I can return,
not only to this,
but to me.

Jeez that hit home, how I miss that safe warm place in anothers arms. Loved it, and the title too - from "The Crow" eh? Good movie!

In that warm place we often feel safe, but its usually without it that we will find ourselves, still everyone deserves the chance to be there to be released from loneliness now and again. I hope you find it!
