Hello

After an age of reading Bluelight but not contributing, I have decided to get involved. I chose here rather than other places because nobody does the "SWIM's uncle's parrot" nonsense.

I used to do a fair amount of LSD in the early 90's and then read PiHKAL and TiHKAL in 97-98. At the time I wished that the substances written about were available so I could do my own research. Fast forward 15 years and thanks to the Chinese economy and certain anonymous Internet technologies, my wish has been granted.

Hey there Anon, welcome to the site. A lot of people prefer Bluelight because if it's lack of SWIM (myself included). What are you into these days?

Hi Anon0631,well done on choosing Bluelight over the Swimming forums.
There's a lot of great people and information on here so should be plenty to interest you.
I look forward to your future posts.

Welcome to Bluelight Anon, as others have said we (almost) ALL dont "swim" lol.
Its even against the rules lol XP
Once again welcome to Bluelight, youll enjoy it here (i hope :)) congrats on finally being able to access the forum.
And if nothing else youll learn (alot)
Welcome again, i look forward to seeing you around the forum :)

SWIM is an acronym used on a lot of the other drug forums and websites when a user talks about consuming drugs. It stands for Someone Who Isn't Me. It was first thought of and created to shield users from self incrimination from law enforcement but it really doesn't offer any superior protection than talking in the first person.

It's ludicrous to think that a cop will read it and think "damn, we can't arrest this person because they used the word 'SWIM' instead of 'me'". The only thing more annoying is "I found a note at the bottom of my garden and this is what it said".

What are you into these days?

I'm into psychedelics. Definitely interested in NBOMe's of which I have tried 25i, 25c, and 25d. I was disappointed by the nature of the 25d trip. Shulgin's tofu comment regarding 2c-d springs to mind. It was very active but bland and devoid of character. I need to experiment at higher dosages to see if it starts to shine. I absolutely love 25c though. I find the emotional warmth and candy-cane colours to be a lovely combination.
