I work ten hour shifts and have absolutely no hope of getting enough privacy to use heroin in any normal fashion, but I also have a habit that really cannot tolerate ten straight hours without a little refresher. Trying to close a restaurant at three in the morning while sweating, shivering, and trying not to shit my pants or vomit is not fun.
The Afrin sprayer idea is not new. I actually found it on bluelight. But unless you have several grams to commit to it, the bottle itself is way too big for the job. And even then, the plastic draw tube will not get it all out of the bottom. In fact, it will leave quite a bit of it behind, and as any user knows, the last bit is the bit you REALLY need. But the concept is sound, and for BTH users, with a little modification it can be a life saver. So here's what I do.
First clean everything out, spray out the remaining medicine and then start spraying out hot water until it's clean. Then take the little plastic cover that goes over the spray nozzle and turn it upside down. Wrap a fair amount of masking tape around the outside of it and shove it into the open top of the bottle. Now you have a tiny cup that will hold just about 5ml. Then just trim down the plastic draw tube so that it just makes it to the bottom of the little cup you've created when the spray nozzle has been screwed all the way on. This may take some trial and error, so remember, you can always trim a little more off, but you can't put any of it back on. I also usually put a little cotton (a q-tip top is the perfect size) on the bottom to keep any garbage that doesn't dissolve in the water from clogging the spray nozzle.
If you've done it right you can just pull it out of your pocket right in front of your boss and as long as there is any heroin in there at all, you can be sure you'll get a hit. I am not recommending that anyone use this method to get rip roaring smacked out stoned at work, but I use it to stay well so I can keep my job, because I know that as a heroin addict, I am damn lucky that I still have one, and for that it works.

*edit* I should mention that if you don't wrap masking tape around the plastic cover/cup before you invert it and put it in the top of the bottle, it might stay for a while, but eventually it will fall into the bottle and then you'll be in a real pickle. You'll be able to get it back out pretty easily without cutting the bottle open or anything, but if it was full of heroin water, well... you'll wish you had used the masking tape
