Name: Afloqualone (6-Amino-2-(fluoromethyl)-3-(2-methylphenyl)quinazolin-4-one)
Here is the structure. It is a methaqualone analogue of the Quinazolinone class. Developed in the 70s in Japan. Agonist at B sub group of GABAa Receptor. Causes photosensitization as a side effect. Was used in some studies I read but they only brought to light the obvious, about its action, sedative-hypnotic. No idea about Quinazolines SAR's. Previous RC analogues that came out were crap apparently, with exception to the methylated version. Wanted to get some but it went missing just as quickly as its name was uncovered. What do we say? Any extrapolations? Experiences? I might order some and sample. Till then, discussion please.
