Is it possible?
I was thinking about the 2002 Russian theatre crisis where chechen rebels rounded up hostages in a theatre, and the russian police used what was thought to be fentanyl gas to put them out.
And ended up killing almost everyone.

I know ketamine is very difficult to overdose on, so would this work better?
How difficult would it be to make an aerosolized variant of it??
Is it being researched??

The dose required to achieve a k-hole is far too high to administer in aerosol form. The anaesthetic dose is even higher.

Fentanyl is effective in that form because the dose required is so low - in the micrograms. Ketamine requires doses in the tens of milligrams to achieve a light recreational buzz, and hundreds of milligrams to achieve a hole. This is a significant mass of compound, far too much to be effective in vapour form, even if one were to put it into a nebulizer.

Even it's analogues dosage and LD50s are way too high. Fent is active in micrograms and has a very strong dose responce curve.
3-methylfentanyl was drug used in the 2002 Russian theatre crisis.

I think he may be asking whether it could simply be used to incapacitate combatants without expiring them? Would be a better idea than tossing tear gas into a crowd, though I guess they wouldn't disperse because they would be fucked on ket but oh well!

I suppose it could have some entertainment value in that k-heads would show up to try & huff the stuff that riot police shoot into largely peaceful crowds ;-)

Ketamine or something similar would be perfect, even on lower doses your motor skills are severely impeded.
And it's so hard to overdose on, which is why I was thinking about it.
Ether would be good except that it's so flammable.
Maybe there's a drug waiting to be discovered which would be perfect for the role.
