Advice on Mallinckrodt generic oxycontin 80mg

I've tried the microwave freezer method twice, wasn't happy with the result. not the old days with the OC's. sorry guys. i mean please keep trying to break the time release, but honestly none of them work. I hate you PURDUE! happy new year blue lighters.

fyntenal patches/new ones..bad news

has anyone ever used a similar extraction method for fentany patches. unfortunately they are getting away from making the gel filled resivoir type transdermal patches. duragesic the name brand maker of the patch has recently changed over from the gel resavoir style to the matrix style(flat like a nicotine patch,no gel just addhesive containg the drug, like a laced piece of tape) very similar to the mylan generic patch.

at first i was really pissed but there is an up side to these new patches. ive yet to figure out why but they contain way more fentanyl than the old gel patches or any of the generics for that matter.for example a 75mcg/hr patch used to have 7.5mg of fentanyl per patch both gel type namebrand duragesic as well as the generic mylan matrix patch(like i said the mylan patch and the new duragesic are the same matrix style, flat, non gel patches.)however the new duragesic matrix patches now have 12.6mg of fentanyl per patch!!!!!????? thats almost double! all i know is that one of the new patches lasts me alot longer than one of the old patches did!!! you can translate that yourself.

my husband overdosed on those new ones.. he used to buy the ones with gel in them..then he got the one like the nicotine patch...i do believe the are alot stronger. he never had a problem chewing on the gel ones but when he chewed on the patch one he started knodding off in 20min. he had the patch in his mouth for like 2 hrs..he was too out of it to realize it was still in his mouth.. he was rushed in an ambulance and they said those cut off his breathing. stay away fro. the patch ones.. the gel ones r ok

I tried using the crisping method with a toaster oven instead of a microwave. Results similar. The brown/tan oxy was still gooey after removing from the freezer. I was a little upset because id did this with 1/2 an 80. It was too clumpy to snort so I heated some water and dissolved it in ~3ml water. With just a little heat it did disolve but the water was a little thick, but definitely not :gel:. So I just snorted the water. Worked OK, but not great. After all the work I decided to just soak the rest in limeaide overnite. I'll swig that down in the AM, hopefully it is more effective than this microwave bs.

swallow the pill for a nice long lasting high
for a rush and "high" crush and swallow/snort/IV around 20-80 mg in your case however id start low maybe a 20 mg bump and then another 20 in a half hour if your not rockin just work your way up
for some reason i can eat oxys all day and feel jsut fine but after I eat a good handful (10-20 norcos) im straight SHIT faced but I can eat a script of 80s in a day or 2 and be dissapointed. I hate how it wears off at least 2-3 times as quick as hydro. actualy, with little tolerance or a HUGe dose I can feel hydrocodone for 24 SOMETIMES. I mean I can alwasy feel some effects for that long but if im sick its every 4 horus or im sick as fuck but if i have a low tolerance and take like 160 mg of hydro I wont need to redose till later that night
oxy its every 2 hours ON THE FUCKING DOT I hate the shit personaly

better yet, sell the motherfucker for 80 bucks a pop and you can buy a shit ton of hydro/heroin/morphine-any good opie fuck that oxy

Agreed. Id rather take morphine or heroin over an oxy any day. Actually, I do, every day. God I love H. There's simply nothing better, imo, but to each his own. Shooting up oxys is alright, its a very clean high, but h is just the bees knees

I came across a few of these today, and was surprised to find out that they are actually a generic form of Oxycontin. I was unaware that there were any generics available on the market these days. The pill imprint has an M on one side, and 596 on the other. Through looking on the net I've determined that these are Mallinckrodt 80mg Oxycodone Controlled Release.

My question is what is the best way to consume these? I've never taken Oxycontin, but have taken 15-25mg of hydrocodone (Norco) on a near daily basis for over a year now. So I have somewhat of an opiate tolerance, albeit not a large one. Would it be dangerous for me to just swallow this 80mg pill? Is that even the best way to take it? Should I crush it up? Snort it?

Thanks guys, I'm just new to Oxycontin, and there is very little info out there about this generic specifically. Just want to make sure I do my research before trying these out.

Thanks. Anybody else have some info? I'm a little hesitant to rail these since I've read they have a tendency to gel up and clog up your nose. Could I just crush it up and parachute a third of the powder? Or should I just drop the pill as is?

if u bang then i would bang it. if its like the morphine ER then it gels up so just add more water til its like water and filter twice. ive never snorted them though. shit chew it up and down the hatchet! where r u at? Ga???

all you have to do is tell your pharmacist you dont want generic. hell give you purdues oc's you may have to pay more out of pocket but its well worth it

Bottom line is BLUES rule the scene now.No way around it but they are short term pain relief.Wheres OCs are long term.Thats why blues dont last as long.So blues wont change much cause they have to get in you quick.
