Hia guys. I have read across bluelight for many years but rarely post. Sorry if this is the wrong place, if it is please could someone point me in the right direction.

I was prescribed 2mg diazapam for about a month roughly a year and a half ago which really helped me out in an extremely life changing and stressful time of my life, and although the bulk of the anxiety i believe has resided i still feel i may have underlying anxiety issues from past events. Just a bit of background information that i do use recretional stims (cocaine , decent pills when i can get my hands on them) / RC's roughly every couple of months now. I started taking etizolam about 6 months after stopping the Diaz and used it mainly for coming down after stimulant binges and then realised its great, and almost amazing anti anxiety powers and started using regularly. I started using it regularly about 7 months ago now with about a 3 week break in the middle, normally between 0.5-2mg before bed. I am now starting to feel withdrawl symptoms when i wake up and throughout the day at work, the main problem being loss of sensation in my thigh's and sometimes spanning up to my chest and feet when lying still, today i was also feeling a bit nauseous, although not actually sick.

I have ongoing breathing problems (i am asthmatic) but also have been told by my doc it could be down to anxiety (which i do agree with because i can breathe almost perfectly after dropping an etiz).

*Oh also i get horrible muscle spasms when lying in bed if iv not had any etizolam.

I don't wan't a lecture on the dangers etc as i am aware of those, and the resaon I havn't been to my doctor is just because i dont think they really take me to seriously. Last time they just gave me a script for some promazine hydrochloride (which is just sitting on my shelf as it actually makes me feel worse and keeps me wake)

But cutting to the chase now, I would just like some advice on tapering off the etiz and how to go about it time frames / quantities etc)

Thanx

Stabilize yourself on a comfortable dose and maybe reduce it by .25 every week or so. Just go with what your body tells you. Stay away from the stimulants for awhile as well.

I am not a doctor, so take my advice with caution.
