Bupe Advice needed urgently

Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've been active on here (so long I even lost my password and changed my email and had to re-sign up. Used to be JayRiddley).
Mods/Admins, I apologise in advance if I had posted this in the wrong forum. 8)

Anyway, I've been detoxing in a private clinic since mid-June last year. I was on 4x60mg MST amps (IV) a day when I started but two weekends ago I started a bupe (generic subutex not suboxone) detox. However, today I relapsed 8(. I was down to 4mg/per day of bupe. So I bought myself 0.75g of gear and did just over half. I did feel it but not massively. I started the bupe on Fri 27/01 (around 9pm) and took 14mg within 18hours. So 14mg was my starting dose. Between Sat 28/01 and today (Wed 08/02), I reduced down to 4mg. I did it very quickly. The drops were 2mg/day (mostly anyway) and I could tell I had dropped but it was only slightly uncomfortable and definitely bearable! I was at work and for the most part I didn't even think about it (7until later in the day, took dose at 6am so by 5pm I was feeling a little worse but still managed to not re-dose until the next morning). Anyway, that's just background info!

My question is this due to using gear... when is it safe to start taking subutex again? Do I have to wait the full 12-24 hours again so that I'm in withdrawal or can I take my dose in the morning as I normally would? :?
I presume I can't take the dose and have to go back to the start in a way (i.e. waiting for WD symptoms before starting the subutex). :? :? :?

Also, I won't need to go back upto 14mg again will I? I'm presuming I can start much lower this time at maybe 6mg or 8mg (that is if I can't re-start at 4mg?). I can always take the 4mg and then take more if needs be later in the day depending on how I feel. My main concern is avoiding precipitated withdrawal!!!

So if anyone can tell me when I can take the next bupe dose, I'd be extremely grateful! %)

Thats a tough call man. On the one hand im pretty sure you could just continue dosing the bupe like nothing happened since it was only a one day relapse and the bupe was still in your system. On the other everyone is differant and there is a small chance of precipatated withdrawl. im gonna say wait 18 hours after the last dose of the heroin to redose the bupe and to just continue with the same bupe dose as you left off.
 
Ive been on soboxone and im pretty sure you will have to wait mate...You shouldnt have to go back to 14mg though...It was just a slip eh?...You only used the once?...Wait till your in mild withdrawal and then dose....

Im with crimson....
 
You can continue at the 4mg, but I would wait until early withdrawal before dosing it. Bupe is mostly just used to keep the withdrawals away anyway, so I don't see the harm in waiting until you start to feel them before dosing.
 
It may not be the same for you, but I know when the WD's are starting when I get sheen a sweat on my back like the fresh dew on grass in the morning. If you feel the same, might be a good time to take an not worry about precipitation.
 
interesting. when i was on bupe for a week and somewhere in the middle of the week, while dependent on bupe, i spent the whole day and night doing dope. the following morning, i took bupe and dope at the same time then some more bupe and i didnt get any withdrawals.

however, i waited 12 hours last night night until i did a suboxone and it put me into WDs until i got a hold of some more dope and then it just got rid of the WDs....bupe is a weird drug.

You def dont have to up your bupe dose at ALL. But do wait until you feel withdrawal to be safe. When you only take a 1 day break from bupe you can hop back on pretty easy.. honestly you could probably dose before being in even moderate wtihdrawals but to be safe give it 24-36 hours.
