How should a tab of scid be stored and handled? I know its easy to destroy through careless handing and storage. Any tips are really welcome!

best way I've found it to wrap it in tin foil and store it in a cool place...like the fridge, not too cold, not too hot.

Put it in foil then in a lil plastic bag. Keep it out of direct light & extreme tempatures. But hang onto it for to long. Everytime I'd stick mine somewhere I forget where I'd put it. Now if I could only find those damn green gel tabs...

LSD is a pretty unstable compound as opposed to something like ecstasy. no point in storing it for a long time.
and always check for a born-on date on the back of your tabs :)

LSD will be just fine if you take a thick book and place it in between some sheets. Just wrap the hits in a little bit of foil. This is great because if the layer of foil is very thin, the thickness and weight of the book will keep it totally airtight.
Also you can do the same thing without the book and just leave it in a pill bottle in drawer.
So long as your house has air conditioning and doesn't get above 70 degrees or so, it will be absolutely fine.
Despite the long standing myths, LSD does not need to be stored somewhere as cold as a fridge or freezer. Both of those, particularly the freezer, will expose the LSD to moisture anyways.
Moisture, air, light and *extreme* heat are your worst enemies when it comes to LSD. And the normal room temp is not extreme heat. Keeping it some place like your wallet where you sit on it and the body heat gets it would be extreme heat, though.

Actually LSD is probably one of the most stable psychoactive substances ...i still have hits from a sheet purchased in 1995...and that material is still active as of last week

I was going to think of something clever to say but I won't bother. I'll just state the fact that: LSD is by far the most unstable of any of the common psychedelic substances. Yes it's possible to store for a long time, but that doesn't mean it's not unstable.

the lines between forums are now truelly blurred.
who am i?
where am i?
whats happening?
these are all important to me.

Moving this to PD where it belongs....
Also, Do a search... I addressed this issue a number of times in the past. LSD is decomposes rapidly the presence of heat, light and/or various other chemicals. Keep it as cold and as dark as you can.
