Advice needed from aussies

Hey, I've been lurkin around this forum for the past couple months. I just moved to Brisbane from the States and consequently don't know too many people here. I wasn't sure of the quality of E around here, and I'm planning on attending a massive on friday with some mates. Would it be stupid to try to get at the rave? I never did that back in the states but I feel like it would work better here. I remember a post saying there was a large batch of really bad E in Australia recently? What do you guys think? I'm not asking where to get, just if its a stupid idea to try to get it at the event. Thanks!

It doesnt matter where you get your gear there will always be an element of doubt that its real unless you use a test kit.
Test kits a pretty freely available in Australia.

Check out the Directory under The Basics section and you will find a link to a thread with a variety of places who stock test kits.

I also suggest you read the article "Buying Drugs in Nightclubs" that also appears in The Directory under B for Buying.

Finally as an Aussie i can tell you that mdma is very very very rare at the moment. A quick check on pill reports shows just how bad it is compared to previous years.

Yeah MDMA completely dissapeared off the scene somewhere around the end of 2008, you'll be lucky if 1/10 pills contain any MDMA at all, and those that do will be low dose and mixed in with an assortment of other chemicals, most likely high doses of piperazines and/or amphetamines.

Do yourself a favor and don't bother with pills at the moment, there's seriously nothing but trash out there, I've stopped taking them and so has literally everybody I know. People have swapped to meth, psychadelics or the occasional batch of RC's, and the difference shows in the vibe and atmosphere at parties Not much love left in the aussie rave scene right now.

Get yourself a test kit http://www.enlighten.org.au/wordpress/ sells and ships within AU (only).

If you have a read of the AU section of Pillreports you will see that the scene over there is really bad at the moment and that PMA pills are still showing up. If your new to the area and dont own a test kit, my advice is dont buy.

Ahh that's so disappointing. It stinks to think that I'll have to wait till I go back to the states in 4 months to roll again . Won't even be here for StereoSonic lol! But I'd rather take time off completely than look for E and get garbage instead.

depending on the event you may have luck. chances pretty slim though.
best luck has always been with ppl that are selling acid at the same time.
trippers don't fuck around with duds in my experiences.
