Hey guys. I was wondering if any members could help me out with a question.
I have taken 20mg of Dexedrine at 11AM (4 instant release tablets), and around 5PM I have taken 1 T3 (30mg Codeine/300 APAP - no caffeine as I am in Canada).
I was wondering, should I require the Ativan later tonight (only a single 0.5mg Lorazepam sublingual pill) would I be risking any potential risks?
I understand there is the CNS depression risk with opiates and benzodiazepines. However, my doses are quite small, and I do have some dextroamphetamine in my system to keep me alert, would this still be a concern?
The negative side effects I want to avoid are uncontrollable nodding, extreme sedation, loss of memory and control etc. Do you think this dose would do that? I understand Codeine has a 2.5-3hr half life, and given that I will take the Ativan perhaps around 10PM tonight (4 hours after the T3 was consumed) would there be a risk getting any bad side effects?
I should mention I have hardly any tolerance to Ativan (take it only as needed which is perhaps 3-5 times a month). And absolutely no tolerance to Codeine or any opiates for that matter. I do have a tolerance to dexamp as I take it 4 days a week for college lectures. I have never done this combo of an opiate and benzodiazepine before and don't know what to expect.
Has anyone had any experience with this combo (or similar combos) and if so how did it go for you?
