Advice for a vicodin hangover?

Seems my tolerance has gone down, three pills whupped my arse pretty good. Has anyone had any luck in defeating the day-after yuckies? This is probably worse than any alcohol hangover I've ever had.... Thank god I know my limits now.

thats odd...I've never really gotten any hangover from vicoden. I've taken three 7.5mg pills and been fucked up, but after a good nights sleep I feel fine. I guess it hits people differently. also...i know its not the best thing, but how much do you drink with vicoden. (no flames i know it can be dangerous) Maybe that has something to do with it....
 
i had about four sips of a beer earlier on in the evening, but that was it... I'm not a big drinker. *shrugs* I don't know why it hit me so hard. I felt this bad the first time I ever took vicodins, and I took four. that was a long long while ago... who knows.

I like to pop em...wait 25 minutes, somke abowl and drink two beers...the result is mind boggling...This is definetly my favorite PK...people argue that percocet is better but I dont know what they are talking about...I know this is no answer to your post...just sharing my thoughts

Anyway... I'm not sure why you have a hangover. That is bizarre. The only thing I can think of is that it made it difficult for you to sleep, and you're waking up grogy the next day. I know opiates always leave me in a half-awake, half-asleep kinda state...but I *like* it.

And as far as Percocets vs Vicoden...
The effects are essentially the same, but Percocets are stronger. So if you like Vicoden, you *should* love Percocet... Although I see you like Marijuanna too, so that explains a lot.

See this is what Im talking about. Ive taken both (Percs and vico) alot of times...I always get more f'd from vicodin. It also seems like doctors are quicker to prescribe percs than vicodin, this is just from my personal experience. maybe its the actuall chemical makeup that my body reacts to more than whatever is in percs. I dunno, but I know that some of my friends have reacted the same. Also, why is vicodin so popular in hollywood and sports...couldn't these guys just as easily get percocet? Hmmm...

oh yeah, noe ,more thing, vicodin is most common in 2.5mg doses, sometimes 5mg...the ones I have are 7.5 which makes it easier to get buzzed off three. peace
 
I generally take 30 mg hydrocodone (in an extraction, i don' like apap! heh) and if i do it pretty late at night, I have a "hangover" the next day.
For me its not so much a hangover though as it is like mini withdrawals. when i start doing it more they get a little worse. They always go away in a day though, and i never redose when i feel shitty because I know it'll just be worse later. Monday at work i felt like i was gonna puke all morning but i staved it off. I took 30mg at about 11 the night before, and a redose of about 15mg around 2.
I don't feel groggy so much as nauseated and a little shaky unsure of what i'm saying and stuff. Basically, i feel like a retard, but one who got a good night's sleep. ? heh. anyways, it happens to a few others i know, so I'm not too worried.

This is the only possible explanation I can come up with for you liking Hydrocodone (Vicoden) over Oxycodone (Percocet).
If you took 2 10mg Tablets of Hydrocodone as compared to 1 tablet of 5mg Percocet.
In other words, you must have experience in taking larger doses of Vicoden than the doses of Percocet you were taking.
5mg of Hydrocodone is equal to appx. 1.3mg of Oxycodone.
Either that, or the person selling you "Percocet" was actually selling you some other sort of Narcotic.
 
I dunno...this is puzzling. The hydrocodone and oxycodone were both straight from the doctor. I got them from a family member. who knows....I just get more buzzed from vikes. But you could be right. maybe the dosage was different. Although I had a whole bottle......fuck it
 
It's not that crazy - in terms of oral use, I find Hydrocodone to provide a better high - even on a mg-for-mg basis, I enjoy the hydro buzz better then the oxy buzz .. but if yer talking about the stronger of the two overall - OXY by far.. give me one 20mg Oxycontin over two Vicodin 10's anyday!
