advice for 1st time electronic music festival goer

I'm going to my first festival in a few days, Identity Festival at Charlotte, NC Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre. I've never been to an electronic music show (only been to a few live shows, period), and I've never been to this venue either. Any advice? what to expect, what to do/not do, etc.? I'll be tripping balls on whatever, maybe Lucy + 4-AcO-DMT, plus maybe M1 or Molly if I can find her (I've never rolled either). Thanks.

Yeah, water is pretty straight but I'm only allowed 1 unopened bottle of water. And how paranoid should I be? I won't take any pills or random blotter from a stranger, but I prob would take a hit of a blunt if it was passed to me.

you're prob safest buying stuff from someone you know before you get there and just stashing it somewhere on your person or taking it right before you go in (be smart). then you wont end up buying something fake from a stranger. dont od on water lol, puking your brains out the whole night is no fun. enjoy yourself, you are only young once

Are you going with friends? If you're going alone, don't get so messed up that you can't function to a degree, like enough to know when to go to the bathroom, to stay hydrated, etc.

I went to 'roo alone and an experience of getting dehydrated and it was no fun. I thought I was safe to drink less water because it was 3AM. I was wrong, luckily the staff there took good care of me and I was released from the med tent like 30 mins after getting walked to it.

Yeah, I'm going w some friends. I'm the most experienced user though, so no worries. I'm just unsure how my tripped out mind will react to a dubstep assault on my senses

I hope you have a blast but this just doesn't work in this forum.
We don't discuss drugs, or events/specific venues in EMD.
Go with an open mind and good friends. Don't overthink all the details.
