Adventures of Living.

A little worn down today. As it just so happens I've been hanging out with a couple (a&j) that I met 2 years ago at a crystal method show.. we ran into eachother a year later at another show and have since become friends.

Last night was wonderful, a party was started. We played guestuaries and taboo. Loads of wine, beer, 15 people and infinite hilarity.

So much hilarity. Its foreign being around normal people, so refreshing tho. A great start to spring break. =D

Normalcy is weird at first, but kind of grows on you. I find that keeping a veneer of the normal on top of me keeps unwanted attention away. Besides, 'normal' people are people too, and often pretty cool people if you can get to know them.

Just to be sure to keep your awesome weird core intact. :)

Awesome!
I don't have anything as cool as what Dave said- but sounds like you had a good time!! :)

What is Guestuaries??

Yea, it was a good way to relax and have a nice time. I forget its a great big sea out there of people.

LOL, my memory of the game was tainted by my drunkness. It is actually called: guesstures.

haha

You have to act out a word on a card. Ridiculous for inhibited folks.
There was an Explosion, kickstand, meditation, folding. lol

Oh Dave, don't you worry. Trust me, the weird factor is genetic.

Check out my pics in the loungey.

I did. Vurry nice! Even the camera looked a bit drunk :)

My brother tried to teach me a fun game for such occasions. You get everyone around a table and give everyone the same number of little sheets of paper as the number of people. The papers are numbered sequentially. Each person thinks of a phrase, word, expression or whatever, writes it on their paper (#1), and passes it to the person on the right. The person who gets the paper then draws out what the first person wrote on sheet #2. The drawing is then passed to the right, and that person writes what the person before them drew, on sheet #3. And so on. Once the full circuit has been made, all the papers relating to each person's phrase is returned to the original person, and shared with a group. Hilarity tends to ensue.

It's like a version of telephone. Great fun, but requires a moderate degree of coherence. Perhaps better for earlier in the night?
