"Adulterants" vs. dangerous drugs?

Maybe you should re-read my post because that was not what I was saying either...

My point was this: it(PCP) has happened, but not in a long time. Saying that WHEN it happened makes no difference is retarded, basing things(like what's in E, and how much) based on date is very important info. No pill being pressed right now has PCP in it. No pill has had an active oral dose of heroin. Pills have had coke. If you pop that pill, the coke won't do a thing to you, so why would it matter? Also they've had a fraction of a single line, so my point(of it not mattering) is even more valid.

I think the real point is to be aware that these things have happened, and they may happen again. Yes, 20 years ago, most pills had 140mg of MDMA in them, and today, most dont, but who's to say there aren't pills out there with 140mg in them (to use your example). The real point is simply to be aware of the risks, and considering this is a harm reduction forum that seems an entirely appropriate thing to say. No one is saying that most pills have coke, heroin, or pcp, but they have in the past, they may in the future, and there might even be a batch out now. Saying "no pill has [substance] in it" is naive and shortsighted. While your statements about dosage level are correct, you forget about allergies and abnormal reactions. For instance, if i get pills that have DXM in them, i get sick. It is not outside of the realm of possibility to think someone might have a similar reaction to a different substance.

Sir Thizz, again you missed my point; I don't think there are pills out now with PCP or heroin or coke...and like you said it probably wouldn't have any effect anyway. Some people like to say it never happened and with that believe it never will happen again. It might, it might not.

My point is that it if there exists in the world motherfuckers who will put PCP in a pill and and pass it off as ecstasy who knows what the fuck they will try next to make a buck. Right now it's pipes because they are cheap and easy to get.

What they put in NEXT might be detected by a test kit, it might not.

What they put in NEXT might be harmful to you but it might only be harmful to some people--who knows what future adulterant will interact with whatever medications some people are taking?

If you want to be really safe don't put your faith in a bunch of gangsters and if you want to be even safer, lab test and stock up.

I feel exactly the sAme way- MDMA on it's own has me just hugging and purring- I can barely dance! I like pills with small amounts of amp, but piperazine was just horrifying.

I used to be like you were Bsiren! If it said "Adulterated" on pill reports I would just skip them over and presume they had nothing that I wanted. Until a couple of raves I went to and took pure MDMA and couldn't get out of the cuddle puddle... then I realized that maybe a little adulterant to get me up and moving might not be so bad.

I've personally only ever experienced Amp and Meth in pills (besides my one Pipe experience) and never really seemed to mind it as long as the MDMA ratio was a lot higher than the adulterant. The only really bad part is getting to sleep and the next day being a bit worse.

As for pipes... I will never go near another pill with any sort of piperazine again. That was just terrible. And one of my regular rolling friends isn't down for hallucinogens so I probably won't be picking up any trippy pills any time soon (though she didn't seem to mind MDA.)
