I understand it's oxidized epinephrine(not ephedrine kids)Any one have a dosage level???.I think the fascinating thing is that it has to be injested with an oil kinda like a cannabonoid in order to make it active orally...Also its still legal.

technically, taking any mind altering chemical is illegal. buying/selling mind altering chemicals for human consumption is illegal. i really havent seen much information at all on adrenochrome, and i've never tried it, but its definately on my "to do" list when i come across it or decide to cook some up

It's not like what you saw in Fear and Loathing. That was highly glorified and I recall a thread a few months ago about this. Based on it, I wouldn't bother using it recreationally.
Search engine.

Yeah that part of Fear and Loathing actually pissed me off a bit, because of everything I've ever read on it, the effects were totally overstated.
Of course he did take a lot...

Well Adrenochrome is a real chemical. It may in fat be what he said.
Now it *doesn't* have psychedelic properties. It is an interesting question what kind of stimulating propertices it has. My guess is it feels like adrenaline (i.e. shitty) but I don't really know.
Ohh and that isn't true tathra. Taking any mind altering substance is *not* illegal only taking substances which have (or maybe are believed to have) effects similar to illegal drugs, i.e. the analog act.
The law can't just make "mind altering" chemicals illegal as this is *way* to vague, I mean that analoge act is stretching it but as it was written by rehnquist it is little surprise it has stood up. Even rehnquist would have a problem upholding a law that made mind alterating illegal.
What would happen now that we found out semen might have psychoactive properties? Would swallowing now be illegal? What about herbal suppliments?
Also im not convinced this is coming from hunter. I mean I don't remember the chemical name semicarboxizone appearing in fear and loathing...then again I never finished the book. It was too stupid and annoying. Why not go *actually* get high instead of reading it.

It's only psychedelic in that it can cause hallucinations, although nothing to the extent of Fear and Loathing.
