Anyone tried this? I was reading some experiences on erowid and think I may want to try it out mostly as a study aid to take before doing a load of school work or before a test. Any experiences would be appreciated. Also interested in dependency and withdrawal info. Thanks.
 
I haven't tried it but it seems that it's metabolized to modafinil... expect it to be very similar to modafinil
 
I haven't personally tried it, but I have heard good things about it. It's a very popular nootropic. And as flyhigh said, it is metabolized to modafinil, so it's definitely effective (that is if you get it from a reliable source and it is of good quality).
 
Adrafinil is stronger and more dangerous than modafinil. Modafinil gets the job done when not taking meth/amphetamines. Stay safe, stay informed.
 
^how is it more dangerous? Doesnt it just turn into modafinil?
Ive never tried modafinil so that doesnt really help me understand what its like. Is it like a speedy feeling like adderall or more subtle like caffeine? Any info would be appreciated. Tx!

also, are there any risks of addiction/withdrawal from it if used everyday? I doubt id use it everyday probably sparingly couple times a week but I figure its still good info to kno.

I disagree with the potency statement. 300 mg of adrafinil 2x daily did cause an obvious increase in wakefulness, but compared to a 1x daily equivalent modafinil dose, fell very short. The danger part comes from potential hepatoxicity. I used adrafinil almost daily for around 2 months with no ill effects or evidence of elevated liver enzymes in blood work. It made my piss smell rancid though. I don't know if I'd really recommend it. The effects at my dose didn't really seem to warrant the potential problems that could be encountered with prolonged use.
 
I have heard it could be toxic on the liver but that its kinda a case by case basis...I have heard it makes your piss smell rancid due to the sulfur.
