I have heard of a way to inject Tramadol by first doing an extraction using alcohol. However, I can't seem to find enough information on it using Google and such. Does any one have any kind of knowledge on this?

You shouldn't IV anything extracted from a pill, and Tramadol doesn't seem worth the effort to begin with, but I suppose that's just my opinion. More importantly though, judging by your thread title it sounds like you are using Ultracet. If you're set on using Tramadol, you really shouldn't use [intravenously] an extraction from a Tram/Acetaminophen compound.

And the way tram works is it needs to be metabolised before its useful its like codeine bein converted to morphine when swallowed so injecting codeine is pointless because it doesn't make the necessary change to omorphine. I can't remember what tramadol is converted to but I think its like Ditramadol or something with a Di lol hope that helps

Thanks. I normally swallow all pills anyway. Better bioavailability. Was just curious about that extraction method. Never heard of alcohol extraction before. Everything you've all just mentioned coincides completely with what I found by research. Metabolization process and all.

Totally agree, this is very dangerous and not at all recommended.

Tramadol is broken down in the liver, let your liver do the work.

Tramadol is also water soluble like Codeine, so you can easily separate it from Paracetamol using the cold water extraction method typically used for co-codamol. Even if you have Tramadol by itself, dissolving in water seems to bring a faster onset and better opiate high.
