I have been recently diagnosed by a psychiatrist with an "Adjustment Disorder" along with depression. Now, his method of dealing with these issues is by increasing my olanzapine dose and putting me on Prozac, in conjunction with psychological counselling. Psychological counselling -- CBT based -- is worthless; I have pursued it before. It didn't work.
As for the drugs prescribed, they do nothing. The only thing I find that alleviates my anguish is opiates. No other drug does that. They make me not give a damn about my problems. When on opiates my problems seem so trivial and I couldn't care less about what's happening in my life, no matter how negative things are. I have few Percocets left, but not enough.
Anyway, today, by chance, a guy I somewhat am aquainted with is willing to part with 10 15mg IR morphine pills. However, I don't IV drugs. And I've heard from numerous sources that unless you bang morphine, it's a waste of time -- you may as well take a large dose of codeine. I'd much rather prefer oxy, if that's the case. But I won't be getting any more oxycodone for a couple of months, and I just can't wait that long.
So I guess my question is this: Is it worth getting these IR morphine pills to consume orally, or should I just stick with large doses of codeine till I get more oxycodone?
Thanks.
